quick and easy taxi ride to town (approx. F$4.50) or a 25 minute walk.

looking for a genuine Fijian experience without the formality of large luxury resorts.

Yes. Daku Resort welcomes families and offers spacious accommodations, a swimming pool, beach
access, and a relaxed environment suitable for children.

Getting There

Guests typically fly into Savusavu Airport (SVU) via domestic flights from Nadi or Suva. The resort can
assist with airport transfers, which take approximately 10 minutes.

Yes. Airport transfers can be arranged upon request. Please provide your flight details in advance so
we can organize your pickup.

Accommodation

Daku Resort offers a range of bures (rooms), villas and cottages with ocean or garden views. Options
are designed to suit couples, families, and small groups.

All bedrooms are air-conditioned, and most have ceiling fans as well.

Dining & Facilities

Yes. Daku Resort has an on-site restaurant serving a mix of local Fijian dishes and international
cuisine. Fresh seafood and locally sourced ingredients are featured when available.

Yes. Vegetarian and some special dietary needs can be accommodated with advance notice.

Yes, there is a swimming pool available for guest use.

Activities

Guests can enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, island tours, cultural experiences,
and visits to Savusavu town. The resort can help arrange tours and excursions.

Snorkeling can be done directly in front of the resort – there’s a small reef with plenty of fish, and
some coral. The more spectacular reefs can be reached by boat and we can take you there in our
boat.

Yes. The resort can help coordinate scuba diving, snorkeling trips, waterfall visits, and cultural village
tours. We can also arrange freediving lessons or even hydrofoil boarding lessons.

Booking and Policies

Check-in is 2.00pm and check-out 10.00am. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible
depending on availability.

Cancellation policies vary depending on the booking period and rate type. Please refer to your
booking confirmation or contact the resort directly for details.

A deposit may be required to confirm your reservation, especially during peak travel periods.

Practical Information

The local currency is the Fijian Dollar (FJD). Credit cards are accepted at the resort, though having
some cash is recommended for town visits and small purchases.

Lightweight clothing, swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, insect repellent, and comfortable walking
shoes are recommended. A light jacket is useful for evenings in the winter months.

Savusavu is generally very safe and friendly. As with any destination, normal travel precautions are
advised.
